Job Description:

£40k salary package, Fixed term Contract to December 2011.

EEI is the official international business support agency for the East of England, delivering UK Trade and Investment services to assist companies in their international business.

As part of the International Trade Team you will be working

closely with other trade team members across the East of England, with your key task to identify enterprises operating in the LCEGS and Energy Sector (Oil, Gas, Power and Renewables), and provide effective advice and support to enable them to trade profitably in international markets.

To succeed in this challenging role you will need, in addition to a background in the LCEGS sector;

- Hands on experience of trading in international markets, particularly in sales and marketing

- Ability to monitor trade opportunities and provide marketing intelligence to clients

- Experience to establish and maintain a results oriented relationship with businesses in an advisory capacity

- Credibility to develop close working links with these sectors and their representative bodies
