
Programme Officer - Climate Change & Biodiversity Programme
Job Description:
Salary range £20,106 - £36,951 per annum
A full-time permanent position now exists to fulfill a key role in the Climate Change and Biodiversity Programme, developing, coordinating and assisting with the implementation of a range of projects relating to: the impact of climate change on biodiversity; and the role of biodiversity in climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Key duties will include working with WCMC Informatics Programme on spatial analysis aspects of CCB projects; liaising with external partners on spatial analysis issues; developing innovative mapping products that are of value to decision-makers, particularly in the areas of carbon, biodiversity and ecosystem services; supporting the CCB Programme work on Biofuels, as well as contributing to the operation and administration of the programme as required which will involve compiling financial and technical reports, organising/attending meetings and events, and liaising with donors, clients and partners.
The salary is negotiable within the Centre’s existing bands.
